Selfa is built so that a mind can remember you. That only works if you know exactly what is kept and can remove it whenever you want. This policy is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we store

Your email address, used to sign you in and to reach you about your account.

The identity cores you write and the mind Selfa builds from them.

Your conversations, including voice transcripts, so Selfa can remember them.

Billing records held by Stripe. Selfa never receives or stores your card number.

Basic technical logs used to find and fix faults.

AI services

To answer you, the content of your conversation is sent to the model provider you chose — Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI — and, if you use voice, to our speech provider. They process it to produce a reply and do not use it to train their models on our plan.

You are asked to agree to this before the first message leaves Selfa.

What we never do

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

We do not use your conversations to train any model.

We do not read your conversations, except when you send us one yourself to get help with a fault.

Removing your data

Settings → Account → Delete account removes your identities, conversations and profile and cancels any active plan. It cannot be undone.

You may also write to us and ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected.

Age

Selfa is not intended for people under 16.

Where we are

Selfa is operated from Ontario, Canada, and its database is hosted in Canada. Model providers may process your messages outside Canada.
